deathmetal5150 Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 Hey guys, i need to add some coolant to my banshee, i wanted to ask you first and get an opinion. I imagine that the coolant in there is stock from the factory however im not sure. Is it ok to add a different brand of antifreeze to it? What would you put in there? Its sitting right at the "low" mark right now so just need some for riding tomorrow, should i just put water in there, or ? let me know what you think, im a nubee at antifreeze and hate touching it but gotta do it for the maintanence Quote
itsmyforte Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 just add an even mixture of 50/50 water/coolant and poor in until the level is up to full. you don't need anything special. i always buy Advance Auto parts brand coolant. it doesn't have any additives and i feel is a better coolant than some of that other crap out there.
