I recently rebuilt my banshee and when i just finished it it ran like a rocket alot better than it did before it blew up, now things have changed it revs up fine but when you keep gassin it iut gets to a certain point like right into the powerband it just dont keep pullin if you no what im sayin, each gear has a powerband, when you make a shift you can feel the powerband its there but it dont keep pullin when your giver her full throttle its runs like your givin it slight gas, i put new plugs it just dont feel fast anymore what the hell it ran so good not its runnin like shit whats up?? If its any indication the plugs are good color but there bone dry..

Sounds like you're lean. This sort of thing scares the shit out of me and about 100% of the members on this board. You might want to put in some bigger main jets.

 

When the bike is lean, it will rev up fine, but there will be power loss and it just won't have the pull. Those plugs should have oil around the first 2-3 threads on the plug, and I like to see a brown color on mine. Are the plugs blistered ar all?

I agree with what 2smoker is sayin, the first thing that came to mind when I read your post was "lean".

What month\when did you rebuild this motor ??

I agree with the other replies but when mine did this, I had big jets in it already (350's). I called vito's and the told me to play with my air screw. I had mine 2 turns out, the told me to take it one out and it fixed the problem. I didn't know that could make such a difference.
