cjm02ram Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 Took the cover off the left side and the stator cover is busted in a spot. What do I do now? Smells like somehting burnt.. How do I know what all it messed up? Quote
BansheeBrian Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Time to pull the cover off and have a look. You could have fucked the stator,pick-up coil or the flywheel. All not good. Give the stator a resistance test to see if thats the culprit. Quote
cjm02ram Posted September 8, 2004 Author Report Posted September 8, 2004 Its my flywheel. It is ripped best describes it Quote
BansheeBrian Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Shit. Pull it off and as your cleaning in there check for damage.Well.. Gives you an excuse to get yourself a lightened flywheel.Hurry up with the repair so you can continue the Passion jetting topic. Is you're pick-up coil shot? Quote

Oilsmoke Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Ricky stator sells them. Ebay. Nyuk maybe, wanted adds here uh Stealership, Bikebandit.com are a few. Quote
cjm02ram Posted September 8, 2004 Author Report Posted September 8, 2004 Should I go with factory or a aftermarket? Quote
zilladude Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 I found a nice one on e-pay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW Quote
SDD Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Where did it break at? If someone cut too much off the surface they tend to come apart at high revs. If the face of the flywheel was cut it's even more likely to happen. Quote
cjm02ram Posted September 9, 2004 Author Report Posted September 9, 2004 What do you all think caused this? Also you think everything else in there is roasted? Quote
