RV00GT Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 I have been running pro wedge 2's on my shee for some time now and the work great in the dirt, but when I race in grass they don't seem to work as good. Does anyone know of a tire that works better than pro wedge's in grass? Quote
Southside Motorsports Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 what direction are you running the tires in and at what tire pressure. Run them in the reverse direction with low pressure. I have never seen a tire that hooks up better. Quote
alcoholbanshee Posted September 8, 2004 Report Posted September 8, 2004 Yup, the only tire that hooks better than a wedge 2 is a wedge 1. But you have to run them in reverse rotation and I like 3 to 3.5 lbs. of air in them. Quote
RV00GT Posted September 10, 2004 Author Report Posted September 10, 2004 I do have my tires in reverse rotation, but never checked my pressure. I'll try that. Quote
FasterTHENyou Posted September 14, 2004 Report Posted September 14, 2004 A lot of guys run studs through their tires to help them out in the grass. Quote
