BdBanshee Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 I charge $35 for the head, and $25 to advance the timing. Hope this helps. Quote
87sheerips Posted August 25, 2004 Author Report Posted August 25, 2004 what kind of power difference will i notice with a milled head and say 4 deg. adv. timing with my mods listed below Quote
BdBanshee Posted August 26, 2004 Report Posted August 26, 2004 Between 4-5 more HP, should help it get off the bottom quicker also. Quote
BeJay Posted September 13, 2004 Report Posted September 13, 2004 I was wondering I just bought a banshee off this kid and he wasnt sure what all was done to this thing. First the compression checks around 150PSI and the head has been sand blasted, anyways on to my question, It makes a wierd clicking sound I can hear it when i am idling does it do that when the head has been shaved or can I rule that out? Quote
pimpeinkc Posted September 14, 2004 Report Posted September 14, 2004 first, is this your first banshee? second, a shaved head should not make a clicking sound. i have noticed my bike does make a noticeable sound when at idle, but it has always. Quote
BeJay Posted September 14, 2004 Report Posted September 14, 2004 No its not my first but I just got this one a week ago and the one we already had we just put a cool head on 2 days ago and it is now making the same sound. Quote
Big Blue Posted September 14, 2004 Report Posted September 14, 2004 clicking may be coming from the clutch somewhere, or probably the water pump. Quote
BeJay Posted September 14, 2004 Report Posted September 14, 2004 Do you think that I might need a new water pump it also is making this sucking sound after I shut it down, I checked my coolant and it needed a little but it is still making that damn sound. I am just worried that I am going to be out some where and my bike is going to break down. And I havent ever heard anything like that before. Quote
