ssbanshee Posted August 18, 2004 Report Posted August 18, 2004 What do i have to do to my clutch arm on the case to get it to fit with my 34mm carbs Quote
fixitrod Posted August 18, 2004 Report Posted August 18, 2004 If they are keihns, I have a welded bowl that I can trade. The bolt at the bottom has been removed and is welded over. It's from a 35mm pwks but I think the pj's are the same bowl. I can verify if you wanted to trade. Some people use reed spacers also. Quote
ssbanshee Posted August 18, 2004 Author Report Posted August 18, 2004 (edited) ya if you can figure that out it would be great is that really the only thing i can do weld it up Edited August 18, 2004 by ssbanshee Quote
fixitrod Posted August 18, 2004 Report Posted August 18, 2004 According to www.carbparts.com the float bowl numbers are as follows pj 34mm - W1350-289-9910 pwk 35mm- W1350-311-9910 So, I guess they are different. Sorry about that. You may take it to a welding shop and have it welded without the bolt in place. Quote
rebelbanshee2 Posted August 18, 2004 Report Posted August 18, 2004 reed spacers, intakes specifically made for large carbs, or welding or ginding the bold flat Quote
ssbanshee Posted August 19, 2004 Author Report Posted August 19, 2004 so what would be better weld up or reed spacers Quote
The Rebel Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 Dude, bend it down. It's like less than half an inch. We do it to bikes that get the PJS and PWKs. It does not hurt a thing. everything still works great. Reed spacers will raise the carb some. I've never had a problem bending the clutch arm down. Quote
