Banshee~ Posted August 15, 2004 Author Report Posted August 15, 2004 when i go down long hills i usely turn her off and go down pretty fast so it cools down better and saves gas Quote
United Pot Smoker Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 sounds like your in need of a boost bottle. they add like 15 mpg. i have 2 for sale now if you want one. Quote
. Posted August 15, 2004 Report Posted August 15, 2004 Run a higher tooth sprocket, run a gear higher, and jet a little lean. If you jet a little lean the only time its really gonna hurt you is if your hard on the throttle for an extended period of time. Back off pinning it a lot and you'll save gas. You gotta have the HP to be able to pull the higher gearing, run a trans gear higher, but it'll save gas, and every time you get a chance, downhill etc all that.....save gas save gas save gas. Quote
superchicken Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 or you could get a sail on her,and hope for a strong wind Quote
