mrman99 Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 the 2 cables that are left after you take out the tors, do you have to loop them back so they make a closed circut? Quote
decon Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 those two cables are from a switch by the thumb throttle, and a switch on the parking brake. there is also a control box above the left cylinder. Once you take out tors from the carbs u can remove those 3 things on your bike. just follow the wires to the connecters and take em out. im sure u got some new carb tops a new throttle cable, and a idle kit right? because u will have to install those. mrman99 Posted August 8, 2004 Author Report Posted August 8, 2004 to answer my own question: After removing the tors, you just leave the connections unlooped. Quote

Banchetta Posted August 8, 2004 Report Posted August 8, 2004 NO you don't have to close the loop. Leave them separate. Quote
