Cell Phone

Alright I just got a cell phone. My first one, so I don't really know much about plans yet. I know I don't like US Cellular however. What are some suggestions on a good plan I could get. Keep in mind, I don't want to spend more than 30 bux a month, unless I really have to.

get a T-Mobile Sidekick. Its a cool little phone, has a keypad so u can type stuff, like a 2 way. You cna sue the phone, go on the internet, use AIM, your own email, text message, and other things. its a real good phone, real low price plan. i got a plan for like 50-60 a month. the phone is about 200 dollars.

 

or a nextel. but only if you and your buddies get em 2, so u can chirp em .

Mine is $34/mo for Verizon. I have no idea what plan it is, other than a plan to use the damn thing 40 times a day.

 

The Verizon to Verizon customer deal kicks ass though. Any other Verizon phone is a free call. Plus I get to use some text messaging. 10 cents to send, 2 cents to receive and I can send from my email address.

I'm sure most cell phone companies have all these features now anyway. Just throwing out what I've got and use.

Verizon has a new feature where you pre-pay and use the phone based on what you are paying. If you want to only spend 30.00 a month, your not going to get much cell time.

I use sprint, something ,like 2000 minutes a month. When I set it all up it was the plan with the most minutes availible, and I use every one of them plus some.

 

Like phil said, for 30 a month its more like an emergency phone- only use it when U REALLY NEED IT! Kind of like my g-ma's phone, I think hers it 35 a month, and it sits in her glove box- only used for emergency's and flat tires.
