streetshee Posted August 2, 2004 Report Posted August 2, 2004 hi there,i wanted to anodize my wheels,so i spoke to a guy at an anodizing firm and he looked at them and said the quality of the wheels is not good enough to do,he sez itl ruin em? i dont believe him,what do u guys think,have u anodized douglas?? It all depends on the surface finish from what I've seen around here. A brand new Douglas rim should be PERFECT for anodizing. They wouldn't even have to "bright dip" it first since its polished, so there would be one less process to do. Ask some other shops. Quote

evil Posted August 3, 2004 Report Posted August 3, 2004 i heard that too with a brand spanking new set of douglass 190 wheels. then i powder coated them anodized black and couldnt have been happier, and i saved a bunch of money. Quote
