hamuel Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 How long do you all ride, before you let the shee cool down for a little while??? Quote
J.J. Posted July 25, 2004 Report Posted July 25, 2004 I never stop to cool it down... Jetted slightly rich, no engine ice, inline cooler or any of that shit. Quote
BdBanshee Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 If it's jetted right, you shouldn't have to stop except for fuel. Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted July 26, 2004 Report Posted July 26, 2004 How long do you all ride, before you let the shee cool down for a little while??? I've ridden 20-30 minutes stretches or more depending on how motion sick or how beat up I get. Usually though I stop and let the bike cool about every 15-20 if we are riding hard, such as up a dune to jump, or drag racing. When we race up a large dune, we only go once, maybe twice if that then shut it down for a few. Quote
hamuel Posted July 26, 2004 Author Report Posted July 26, 2004 I was just wondering. we stop and let them cool about ever 45mins to a hour worth of riding. The builders around here, all say thats way to long ride them with out letting them cool. Quote
ScreaminShee01 Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 me n my buddies run dirt roads in upstate pa... running preactically all day only shut the off for fuel and lunch... Quote
racer Posted July 28, 2004 Report Posted July 28, 2004 i run mine all day at LS only stopping to eat and gas er up. but duning is wide open so you get tons of air across the rad. id maybe shut it down if i was doing tight closed trails but running dunes i never even think of it. Quote
