plug9992 Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 Hi! It may look stupid, but I've seen a buddy who was riding a banshee with sand tires in the snow. It was a blast to see, but I don't know if it was effective. What do you think? Maybe it's an alternative for the ugly "4 snow" Quote
Maverick302 Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 Depends on the kind of snow but yea it usually works great i used to spin tires all the way through the top of 6th and i put on an old pair of paddles and it would grip in 3rd! Much more predictable turning too, but (like always in the snow) you have to turn with the throttle and your body. Quote
Banshee~ Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 yes it is..im putting mine on if it snows this year Quote
racer Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 yes it is..im putting mine on if it snows this year dude you know itll snow this year, i just hope its enough to make the riding worth the gas money. Quote
stclark04 Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 my buddy used them last winter for snow, straight line they worked real well but the turning was terrible, but hey, its snow, its gonna be alittle squirly. Quote
dnhyoung Posted July 24, 2004 Report Posted July 24, 2004 This last winter I was running around with my haulers on the rear and my mohawks on the front. 1000% better than just nobbies. I got a few strange comments in the staging area but out on the snow, people were impressed. I do have one suggestion, watch out for the runner mark left by theskis on the sleds, they would occassionally grab, and throw you around a bit. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted July 24, 2004 Report Posted July 24, 2004 hell yea they work great in snow, a number of memebers in here use em Quote
