2Smoker Posted July 21, 2004 Report Posted July 21, 2004 Hey my swingarm bearings are gone and I wanted to know what you normally replace to fix it. I ordered a bearing for each side and an oil seal for each side, I looked at rivayamaha's swingarm assembly picture in the parts catalogue. Should I order a sleeve too? My swingarm was fine then it just went...too many wheelies? Thanks in advance Quote
Holyman Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 If your bearings went out and you rode it for any length of time, the sleeve inside is probably gone too. It was not the wheelies that did it, it was lack of grease. The stock arm doesn't allow added grease and it doesn't take long to get water in there and the bearings go quick after that. I always give HQ members a deal on bearings {kinda late for you though} but you can email me and I can send you some pics of how and where to put in the grease zirk. [email protected] Quote
