nasty01banshee Posted July 18, 2004 Report Share Posted July 18, 2004 (edited) i highly doubt that... all my boss buys is fords and we've had nothing but problem after problem with them, shit my '97 E-250 had check engine light come on at about 19,000 miles and wasn't resolved till about 30,000 miles.. after some "specialist" flew up from texas to diagnose a spark plug and wire ????? let alone the two 4.2V6 motors i gernaded in the thing POS !!!!!! not gonna drag out a long bitch fest on ford vs. GM vs dodge etc.... but they are crap !!!! my current 2003 is still a POS !!!! it's already had ball joints, two windshields, numerous check engine light issues, the freakin' tranny squeals when it shifts above 4,000 rpm and it's already had tranny service (fluid & filter) + another " bad plug & wire" POS 4.6 L, the same piece of shit they stick in crustangs.... the only good one i had at work was my '95 with an inline 6 cyl. 4.9L, which gernaded the rear ring and pinion and trashed a $1,600.00 ABS unit which is mounted in the carrier... this will prolly turn into a long post on what sucks worse, but from my expierience FORD's blow and i would never buy one and that's my $.02......... here are some pixx of how i like my ford........ You can hit 90 in 2nd gear almost as quickly as you can stomp the gas peddle down. Talk about a floaty front end though. Almost spooky light under acceleration.
