tithead Posted July 10, 2004 Report Posted July 10, 2004 well, the european drag racing championship cicked off in may with a flighing start! the final round is in about 8 weeks time where i hope the weather is asgood as it is next time. andy carter, a british top fuel driver ran a 4.832 second run at 306.36mph urs erbacher, a top fuel funny car driver, ran a 6.377 second run at 235.43mph. both are the european holders in there class. im just wanting to no what the records are over with you guys for top fuel dragsters and top fuel funny cars. ta tithead Quote

For those of you that have never been to a NHRA drag race and heard (read: felt) a top fueler launch, you don't know what your missing. I remember when I was a teenager and saw Big Daddy Don Garlits hit the 270 barrier. Back then that was just unheard of. Damn, I'm getting old. Quote
