MotulMonsta Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 (edited) I've heard mixed reviews about the V-force 3. Heard it doesn't produce as much power..but it's easier to tune. Edited July 8, 2004 by MotulMonsta Quote
mccarty7 Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 Iv'e heard it produces more power. I would have them to check them out but as far as I know, they are not out for banshee's yet. Quote
MULLET~BOY Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 yes they are out for banshees there supposed to make more power as far as being easyer to tune how easy is it to throw in a jet one size bigger Quote
nickxc Posted July 9, 2004 Report Posted July 9, 2004 by easier to tune they mean that the whole read cage comes apart by snapping rather than screws. You can snap the whole thing apart in your hand put in new reeds and snap it back together. As far as power if they are the same v force 3s that they put out for sleds then Id stick to the 2s. I had 3s in my sled and I was using them for a while and my dad had the same sled with the same pipe and he had v force 2s and he was passing me. I wrote it off as being one engine faster than the other (since that does happen). then an engine builder that my family knows that works very close with HTG (hot to go) racing showed me a dyno graph of the same sled with v force 2s in it and then v force 3s and the 3s produced almost 3 hp less in some places. I ditched my 3s and got a set of 2s for the sled and it perked up a bit. (Im closer to the old man now). a little different intake setup and I think I can take him Thats my take on v force. The 2s have to be taken apart by using a screw driver but you only have to take them apart and put in new reeds like every few years so I think I can take the screws.... Quote
