I am getting ready to replace the swingarm on my shee because the last jackass that owned it bored holed into it with the chain tensioners. im just wondering if there is anything that I could possibly run into that might throw me off. I really want to get this right. Thanks for all the help!!! Quote
Holyman Posted July 2, 2004 Report Posted July 2, 2004 Getting the pivot bolt out can be very difficult but it can be done. Make sure you have a very large hammer to help it out. Try not to ruin the bolt {this is difficult if the bolt is rusted in} because they can be kind of pricey to replace. I would also install a grease fitting in the swigarm pivot so you don't have to pull it apart again once the bearings get dirt in 'em. I'd also replace the bearings {if you didn't get new ones with your new swingarm}. I can get you the bearings at a special BHQ price if you need them. Other than that, you should be good to go. Email me if you have any other questions... [email protected] Quote
