banshee04le Posted July 2, 2004 Report Posted July 2, 2004 Just got my cases bolted back together after having the crank welded and everything went well except for, after I finished, I found one of the 2 case alignment dowels laying on the bench. I don't think I have to worry about this...shes sealed up tight...soooo whatcha think? Quote

If you bothered to rebuild it you might as well do it right and chalk it up as a f*#K up that you learned a lesson from. just my .02 check Quote

The dowel on the crank end is in place. It's the rear dowel that I left out. I don't think it's going anywhere but I guess I'll see. I'll split em again this winter at the latest. Quote
