I just installed a trinity cv manifold with a 34mm PJ carb. I am at 1000' and its 90 outside. I have fatty pipes and K&N clamp on no box. The carb came used with a 178 main and a 68 slow or pilot jet. The bike will start and run with the choke on but as soon as you take it off it dies. The air screw is 1 1/2 turns out and with the choke on it seems to be idling ok. Should I go bigger on the pilot or smaller? 68 seems kinda big from what I have been reading on here. So what should I go with

u can prob get by with a 45-48 depending on what fuel to oil ration you run and what mods you have

but some of the other guys will prob be able to tell you a little better than i can as i am still a rookie
