My left carb top got stripped real bad somehow and wont stay on so i got another sset off carbs off ebay that have the tors removal kit, toomey tops and idle screws. I cleaned the carbs out and put my 290 main jets in them and i left the 25 pilots in them. I have to use starting fluid to get it 2 start now and it just dies when i let off the gas. it runs fine in the upper rpm's but studders in the lower. I cant figure out what is wrong and it is pissing me off. any help is appreciated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mskarl Posted May 28, 2004 Report Share Posted May 28, 2004 I understand that the new carbs have the TORS removal but did you unplug the parking bike sensor, and the throttle sensor? Also is the little black box under the left side (while sitting on it) under the frame unplugged?
