ledofthezep Posted May 27, 2004 Report Posted May 27, 2004 To disconnect the torrs,....follow the wires coming out of your clutch perch....on the left side of the gas tank there's a little white connector running to a control box next to the coil...unhook that plug & TORRS has been disconnected. I'd also suggest checking the connections on your plug caps. You may even unscrew the caps....clip the wires from the coil just a hair & re-screw in the caps. Was anything done prior to the problems?...mods, anything? Quote

D34 Posted December 1, 2004 Report Posted December 1, 2004 PLEASE let me know when you figure it out.. cuz i have the same problem.. i put the engine 2gether.. im new to this.. so dont know to much but i get spark 1nce every 3-5 b kicks or so... ? 287506[/snapback] i have seen this happen even tho the key switch or the kill switch was n the off position... or if 1 of the switchs is not workin correctly... i quick short cut would b 2 cut the black/white wire at the cdi... then strip (dont have 2 cut) the red/black wire and jumper it 2 ground... that will delete out all the control wirin on the bike... hope this helps... SDD Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 Try holding the gas in and kicking it over while checking for spark. You don't have to hold it wide open but at least 1/4 throttle. Quote
fixitrod Posted December 2, 2004 Report Posted December 2, 2004 I had a stator that tested good but had a mind of it's own. If it was fine before it set and now won't run maybe a corroded connector. Quote
