kenr74 Posted May 27, 2004 Report Posted May 27, 2004 Who on here has painted their pipes? There was a thread a long time ago about somebody painting theirs blue. Just wondering how it held up. Anybody else paint their pipes? I'm just wondering because I can pic up some painted T-5's cheap but they need a new coat of paint. Quote
ledofthezep Posted May 27, 2004 Report Posted May 27, 2004 I had some StageIV trinities I repainted....sanded them real good, then put a couple coats of high temp engine paint...worked great. If you look in rockymountain's catalog they have some high temp colored PJ1 paint for pipes...and some other colors. Here's a pic of those pipes on that banshee....like the custom shifter!hehe Quote
kenr74 Posted May 27, 2004 Author Report Posted May 27, 2004 Did you notice any problems having to do with overheating? They should hold more heat in but I don't think it would be that bad. Quote
