thecabinboy Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 (edited) I hate the fact that when I buy something the seller always wait to see what feedback I have given him. If I pay (mostly by paypal within 24hrs)for the item I bid on, in my eyes I have done my part. So what the f*ck is the problem? Just one of the great many things that irritate the piss out of my day to day existence. Its hard to soar like a eagle when your surrounded by turkeys. Edited May 25, 2004 by thecabinboy Quote
00BANSHEE Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 I am with you on this thecabinboy. I too always pay with paypal right at the end of the auction and most of the time I have to beg for a freakin feedback. Quote
XTShee Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 Dude I know what ya sayin, I have even had guys email abuse at me because I refused to leave feedback before they did. As far as I am concered as soon as I have paid my end of the deal is complete Quote
die_infidel Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 Yeah well i hate buying something giving good feed back just to get no feed back at all from seller. I got 2 members that gave me feed back out of 9. Lazy ass sellers after i pay with pay pal and give them good feed back asap i get nothing back. Pure lazy and unprofessional ebayers. Quote
nasty01banshee Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 feedback is a pain in the ass, when i buy something i leave it as soon as i receive my item and am satisfied with it. when selling i will only leave feedback after the buyer has received the item and has left it for me. i've had too many problems with things getting lost, people complaining about stupid shit like bidding on a part that does'nt fit their particular model (no matter how good i list my description, there are no shortage of idiots with i-net access) so until the sale is succesfully completed and the buyer is satisfied, no feedback... unless i'm handing out a negative, then it can't get posted quick enough !! LIsurfer_ Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 I do give a buyer feedback as soon as payment is made......I.....like you think that their side of the deal is done when payment is made...but it is a bitch when they will not give feedback after the part is delivered..but oh well....... erbilabuc Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 but sometimes you have buyers that are expecting more then what is in the auction. I had a guy recently buy my clutch, even though it was not mentioned anywere in the auction he ASSUMED that I was including the basket, gear and the clutch side case cover(which i was not). Won the auction for 26$ for a clutch and sends me like 10 emails asking were the rest of the stuff is. Left me negative feedback even though I gave him his money back. Ever since then I always wait unless it is someone that has contacted me on the phone. Sorry but there is just always that one idiot! Quote
FastASSBANSHEE70 Posted May 28, 2004 Report Posted May 28, 2004 I'm a sellar on ebay and i wait till i receive feedback . The reason is because i hate when i leave feedback for a buyer and i receive none. I used to leave feedback as soon as payment was received , but half the time i never receive any. So i clearly state on packing slip that when item is received to leave feedback and i will post feedback for them. Quote
frocashmoney24 Posted May 28, 2004 Report Posted May 28, 2004 i only left one feedback and that was for a bad buyer, gotten a few, but whats the big deal about feedback? Quote
Ducman Posted May 28, 2004 Report Posted May 28, 2004 I sell re-cored polished ducati 748, 916, 996 pipes on e-bay and I always leave feedback ass soon as the payment is made. I include in the text on my auction that I will leave feedback as soon as payment is recieved. I also say that If they aren't happy with the item I will give a full refund (not including shipping) if they send the item back. I think that this helps my items sell a lot better, especially since a lot of people are pretty hesitant to buy a $400 item. I think its kinda chicken shit not to do it that way because when the buyers end of the deal is taken care of it's not fair to hold back feedback just for possible retaliation. When I buy stuff I hate when the buyer does that. However, my product that I sell kicks ass, isn't complecated for buyers to figure out what they are getting and it a super value. If I was selling an item that attracted dumbshits, or people that want to extort you claiming they are not satified, I probably wouldn't do it that way. So far every feedback that I have gotten has been positive and an excellent comment. I figure that If they are happy enough to leave feedback then those are the ones I want because potential buyers can PM those people and ask them questions and If they ask a person that was very satified with the product that helps me sell the next one. Therefore, I don't ask for a feedback if they didn't leave one. But I agree, it pisses me off when people are too lazy to leave feedback especially when I pay immedialtly with paypal or leave good feedback before they even get the item. Also every time I have had to leave bad feedback, about 4 times, I have not gotten a bad feedback in retaliation, because if you are the one that got screwed in the deal and it is obvious to everyone else that looks at the feedback it really hurts the person who leaves a retaliation neg feedback much much worse than if they would have just taken it and moved on, or just have appologised in a return comment on the feedback they recieved. Ultimateduner Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 What really sucks is that if you leave a person bad feedback because they ripped you off they can still give you bad feedback. One time we sold something and the guy never paid. So we left him bad feedback, and even though he never bought the item he left us bad feedback. Quote
evil Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 e bay sucks ass. i had one problem buyer and i ate the cost on shipping and the ass f*ck reported me, saying i over charged him for shipping, i had his number and called him when he got the fenders and told him a few thoughts. i hate people like that. i hate e bay. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Quote
