Try to trace back step by step what you have done to it, from when it did run to when it didn't.

Over-oiling of airfilter perhaps?

It seems as if you have the basics covered.

Similiar thing happened to me a while back, couldn't start it, ended up pulling her with the truck and bump starting. Ran and started fine ever since, go figure...

Does it still have the stock CDI? Mine finally gave out after 9 years, about an hour of riding one day. Shut off the bike, then went back to start it and no go. Wouldn't even pull start. The CDI had fried. Sound like your problem could be the CDI or maybe the plug CAPS need replacing. <_<

Good Luck.

i know this sounds dumb but since you haven't run it in a year check to see if your exhaust isn't plugged. maybe something made a nest in there. i bought a 125 years ago and it wouldn't run. after i traded to a friend he found out the exhaust was plugged

Sounds like time to take her in for a tune up by a good shop. That was a long thread covering everything known to man. Forcing it will only make the problem worse. Ask alot of questions when you take it in. Make sure you understand what the problem was and how to fix it the next time it happens. If it dosen't start in a couple of kicks, somthing isn't right. Good luck, and keep those banshee gremlins in Michigan. ;)
