stushee2000 Posted May 16, 2004 Report Posted May 16, 2004 I was thinking of installing a 4 mm strocker and long rod crank. Does any one have any problems with doing this combonation. Is this a good way of going. Most of my riding is at dumount or pismo. Quote
Banchetta Posted May 16, 2004 Report Posted May 16, 2004 I have one and would do it again in a heart beat........especially for dunes!!!! It just pulls hard as hard.... Quote
yamaha350 Posted May 16, 2004 Report Posted May 16, 2004 cost is about the same as a stock crank as it is for the 4mm. but why stop at 4 go to 10. Quote
MRMOONEY Posted May 17, 2004 Report Posted May 17, 2004 THE ONLY THINK I WOULD DO IT MAKE SURE U GET TZ BEARING FOR THE DRIVE SIDE, (CLUTCH) THE STOCK WIESCO BEARINGS SUCK BUTT, MINE BROKE AFTER ABOUT 7-10 RIDES. TZ WONT BREAK. THERE SPENDY BUT THEY LAST A LONG TIME Quote
XTShee Posted May 18, 2004 Report Posted May 18, 2004 (edited) You should also get porting to get the most out of the 4mm stroker, PassionRE does a killer stroker porting and I would highly recommend him along with alot of the other members here. Also welcome to the HQ Edited May 18, 2004 by XTShee Quote
