Dune Gear For Sahara

Does anyone know where I can get a glowstick for night riding and how tall does my flag need to be at sahara.Are the flags down there cheaper?

You can get both down there just as cheap as ordering them. I bought the lifetime guarantee flag for around $20 at Don's (?) shop in the South campgrounds. When mounted on the quad, the top of the flag must be 10'.

You can get glow sticks at the dunes and every place sells the flags , you can usally find glow sticks in camping section at most stores and they are a little less expensive than buying them at the dunes, but last time I was there I bought some at Jim's Sand Toys.

Glow sticks are not required. To ride at night all you need is head & tail lights. However I would recommend running one just to be safe...ya never know what can happen out there. Just ask sredish... What I'd suggest is go to WalMart somewhere on your way down there or before you leave & pick up some glowsticks...will save you a few bucks probably and you won't have to look for them when you get down there.
