Well, the "Larger" riders have more ass to push around and strains the machine a bit more. Since the "larger" rider puts more strain on the machine, he/she might not benifit from a lightend flywheel..if anything the "larger" rider should get a weighted flywheel for more inertia and to help keep his larger ass going and not bogging down in the corners.

There is no reason to not lighten the flywheel no matter your weight..... I'm tppin' the scales at 230, I have lightend my flywheel ,along with several others.... Not one complaint, and I love mine. WOuldn't be without it.......

HOT DAMN!!!

My shit's already for it. Got the new stator on with out a hitch, well a little grinding as usual, but like a glove. I'm set up for the dunes this next weekend. Damn, I feel like I've got a birthday coming.

Later.

I weigh 245 and I never lightened my flywheel on my other shee because I was told it was not recommended for larger riders. I got talked into doing it with my new banshee and it was the best $35 I have spent yet. It really woke the motor up. It revs instantly, I really like it and would recommend it.
