just wondering if this is common or not, and what to do about it? the front of my seat, against the tank, has a lot of play side to side. i'm getting sick of it floating around while i'm riding! there doesn't seem to be any way to tighten it up anywhere. the protrusion from the seat is under the frame like it should be, but has a lot of slop in it. is there something lost, missing, or is it just gonna be that way until i shim it up with my own rigging?

are the 2 round rubber bumpers still on the seat. I know that my seat was loose, and it was because I was missing these. It's part #3. I ended using some rubber adhesive and gluing them onto the seat.

I lost mine too and they are expensive..I remember someone makes a kit but I ended up buying a replacement from the stealershit. It was like $5 for one of them and they had to order it! lol I siliconed all 4 of them in!

yeah, I lost my 2 in the front, put the ones that come in the frame for the stock pipes in there.....lost them 2.....2001 model....Just got another seat that has 2 on them still....those bitches are getting silconed.

forgot to add, I put some duct tape on the piece that slides under the frame to tighten it up after I lost the rubber things and it worked good for a while

If you are looking for new replacement seat cushions I think that UPP make polyeurethane replacements, not sure what they cost.

they are missing!! i never would have realized that was the problem. i haven't checked out the microfische for a long time, but yep, there they are. it seems to be yet another very common minor problem with the shee. gonna check around about getting new ones. thanks guys.

i ordered the poly one's from UPP the other day, and they should be here in a few days. $20 for the set of 4. kind of expensive but from what i've seen at work, the poly shit should last forever. and they will be getting glued in just in case. thanks guys.
