Won't Start #2

I've had the same problem just as of recently as this other guy. My shee is still pretty much stock as I've had it less than a month, but all I've done is change the handle bars. It'll start on the 1st or 2nd kick on a cold engine with the choke on, but it'll burn for about 15-30 seconds than die. Could it be the same possible problems as this other guy or could it be something different because of a stock not completely broken in engine?

What are your mods? Does it idle real low? How does it act after you ride for a while? If it's just idling to low you may just be able to adjust the idle a bit.

Do you shut the choke off after a few seconds and just maintain throttle on/off until its warm or just leave the choke on? The choke should only be used for starting it up, you can play the choke off/on for a minute, but don't leave it on...

Normally, I'll leave the choke on for a minute or two while the engine warms up. Ever since this started to happen, I havn't even had a chance to turn the choke off. After it dies, it won't start with or without the choke. And now that you mention the idle, after the engine is warm after a ride, it dies too. That's been happening ever since I bought it. But that was before this started happening. I can just adjust the idle higher for that, right?

i was having the same probs try new plug wires that fixed it for me ..

cut a car wire in half and push them into the coil , i thought my prob was gas but i put an inline filter in and still had probs . shee runs like a dream now give it a try .

I know my keihin carbs would do like you mentioned. my idle was to low...raise the idle adjustment, it might solve your problem and not cost a dime...
