Hakke Posted May 2, 2004 Report Posted May 2, 2004 I heard that water in carb the reason is off a higher running engine. When there is water in neighbourhood he is going crazy. What can I do? New carbs, new or other springs in throttle valves, new throttle valves or something else? Quote
Aussie Quad Racer Posted May 2, 2004 Report Posted May 2, 2004 do a search. theres several topics on this and there about 12pages long from memory Quote
Hakke Posted May 4, 2004 Author Report Posted May 4, 2004 Help because I find some topics but not all. And certainly not that from 12 pages. I want to know what is best to do? This is a fucking problem. Quote
Dark Ranger Posted May 4, 2004 Report Posted May 4, 2004 Your best bet IMO is to replace them. I replaced mine last fall with a Trinity Stage IV Single Carb kit and I couldn't be happier. I just wish I had done it years ago. The stock carbs suck! Quote
Hakke Posted May 4, 2004 Author Report Posted May 4, 2004 Have you info about this carbs? Are there other carbs, solutions? What 's better about single carb than? Quote
Dark Ranger Posted May 5, 2004 Report Posted May 5, 2004 Look on www.trinityracing.com for info on different carb kits by Trinity. Greydon makes one too and there are a couple others, but I can't remember what they are. Single carbs setups are good for trail riding and MX and dual carb setups are better for drag racing. Quote
Hakke Posted May 14, 2004 Author Report Posted May 14, 2004 I placed 2 new throttle slide valves and the sticky throttle problem is gone! Quote
