badlarry Posted April 29, 2004 Report Posted April 29, 2004 Hi, I live in Massachusetts, and need to know if anyone here has had a good experience w a machine shop that does re-sleeving of cylinders. I took mine to the dealer and he told me that I would have to go all the way from .040 to .080. I don't think he has any clue what he is talking about. He looked at them, had a 15 year old kid mic them. and used words like probably, maybe, might have to...... I would like to get them re measured by a shop that can tell me honestly if it can go to .060 or not. If it has to go bigger i will have them re-sleeved. any help would be greatly appreciated. My only other thought is to send back to TDR to have done but this involves shipping and I would like to try to do this locally. Thanks, Jimmy K. Quote
