When I take my clutch case off, can I cut a hole behind the clutch case insert so I can adjust the clutch without taking the entire case off? Theres the rubber o-ring type thing behind the stock clutch insert. Would that be enough to hold the oil with a hole in the actual case?

I bored it using a Bridgeport mill and a offset boring head. But I have done several since with a 2 1/2" hole saw. Works just as good and a lot less work.

Mine is the same way. Only I used a 1 inch hole and have a rubber plug that fits perfect. Then I put my polish cover back on. Never leaks a bit. All it takes is a deep socket and phillips screwdriver and about 5 mins to adjust my clutch. No need to drain the tranny fluid as it is below the hole.

Sweet, I'm gonna try that. Since my bridgeport mill with the offset boring head is on the fritz :P I'll try the holesaw method.

...And if it leaks it'll be a great excuse to do that lockup clutch cover I've been drooling over!
