QuadMX Posted April 29, 2004 Report Posted April 29, 2004 When I take my clutch case off, can I cut a hole behind the clutch case insert so I can adjust the clutch without taking the entire case off? Theres the rubber o-ring type thing behind the stock clutch insert. Would that be enough to hold the oil with a hole in the actual case? Bob Quote

BdBanshee Posted April 29, 2004 Report Posted April 29, 2004 I bored it using a Bridgeport mill and a offset boring head. But I have done several since with a 2 1/2" hole saw. Works just as good and a lot less work. Quote
00BANSHEE Posted April 29, 2004 Report Posted April 29, 2004 Mine is the same way. Only I used a 1 inch hole and have a rubber plug that fits perfect. Then I put my polish cover back on. Never leaks a bit. All it takes is a deep socket and phillips screwdriver and about 5 mins to adjust my clutch. No need to drain the tranny fluid as it is below the hole. Quote
