DO NOT put put anything in your brake system but brake fluid it can and will eat out the seals in your master cylinder and the calipers if you put anything else in you brake system trust me I have had to rebuild the entire brake system on a car that someone put ATF anto the Master cylinder

NO!!! DO NOT PUT POWER STEERING IN BRAKE SYSTEM. I have replaced so many master cylinders and brake caliper seals do to people putting the steering fluid in. Sanddunejunkie is right it will eat and wreck anything made of rubber. It doesn't take long neither before seals go and your flying through a stop sign or light.

You can however put tranny fluid in power steering for a substatute.
