jeepman380 Posted April 23, 2004 Report Posted April 23, 2004 I'm finally getting my motor ported and stroked! I'm getting a Stage 5 low end race port and I'm putting a +4mm LR stroker in it. I'm using the 795 series Wiseco pistons and puttin' in 19cc domes. Can't wait to get it back and see how shee rips . For all you stroker guys out there, how do you like it? What's the powerband like? What kinda gears are you runnin'? Big difference in low end? How does your clutch hold up? Any feedback would be great. Quote
Banchetta Posted April 25, 2004 Report Posted April 25, 2004 I'm still working out my bugs in mine....so far I have less low end power, but its insane once the powerband kicks in....Not what I was looking for....Do a lot of research...For tight trails, I'd stick w/ the stock crank...If you ride fast wide open areas, then go for it.....the stroker has insane pull for upper gears...you have to go up 2 teeth in the front sprocket to calm it down...
