Sounds like your shift fork bound up on the shift star. Pull the clutch cover off & move your shifter, you'll see where the piece that graps the nubs on the shift star has probably poped out a bit & isn't grabbing the gears, rather stuck between 3rd & 4th. Get you a little flathead & un-bind it. Then take your shifter off, put a rubber washer on the shaft, then regular washer or two and put your shifter back on. This will eliminate the left-to-right play of the shift shaft that allows it to get bound up. ;) Boonman's looking for a perminant fix on this will a bearing collar, there's a post in either the tips & tricks about it or mods & repairs that I started called 'shift shaft replacement' or something like that...check it out. :clap:
