Gargamel Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 I like the ims heel guards but they require there $200 peg also. Anyone know a site that sells metal heel guards that fit on the stock pegs. Quote
dnhyoung Posted April 6, 2004 Report Posted April 6, 2004 I just cut the ears of of mine where the rear fender guards attached, sanded them down a bit, then had them powder coated only cost the price of the powder coating, and a little of my time Quote

Gargamel Posted April 6, 2004 Author Report Posted April 6, 2004 I have stock ones. The stock floor boards are ugly and the plastic heel guards I broke First ride. I like the look of the ac pro peg nerf w\ heel guard but everyone says there crap. So I looking for a different route to go. I need as much protection as I can get. Ran my foot over last weekend climbing a moutain. I ride in the woods where no trails are found and there is no suck thing as a smooth ground. Quote
BrokeStonedBiker Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Ran my foot over last weekend climbing a moutain. lol im thinking of cuting them ears off too is it worth doing? i think it would help save my feet from the rocks and stuff but... they look so damn ugly Quote
dnhyoung Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I don't think they look too bad with the ears cut off and a good powder coat job...Plus cutting the ears off adds about 2 hp.... Quote
