54gt Posted June 26, 2012 Report Posted June 26, 2012 ok guys i have a quick question. doing a rebuild on my banshee.... from what ive read for cast pistons i need to have a .002-.0025 clearance gap between the side wall and the piston. does that mean i should increase the bore size .004? or would the bore size only increase .002? The pistons are clearanced when you put the final hone and cross hatch on the cylinder. Thats why most builders want you to have the pistons so they can FIT them when over bored and what not. Quote
Rigid_Banshee Posted February 11, 2015 Report Posted February 11, 2015 The Namura's don't work with an aftermarket head I've tried theres major compression issues much too low the dome angle is simply too small. Wiseco, Vito's Super Stock or OEM if you want when running the aftermarket head. Quote
ryguy27 Posted February 12, 2015 Report Posted February 12, 2015 Okay what about namura with pd cool head 22cc domes? Quote
