Tranny Bearing Clips

Hey im missing one of the clips that goes around the bearing in the tranny. Will it matter if i dont have this or should i order one. Let me know

i thiink yamaha put them there for a reason i would replace it ,if not its someting else that could go wrong .Hell there only a few dollars make it rite the first time .

They hold the main bearing from moving and yes you need it and I dont think tranny[trans-gender] have clits--just guessing--alittle image here to get the thought out of your mind

i would assume you need it. if yamaha could save 1 cent on every quad they would. when you make about a million quads a year a penny adds up so they aren't gonna put in unneeded things. ok i guess i'm wrong there i guess TORS and the plastic foot guards are unneeded. or maybe evrybody in the world other than yamaha executives think so

Yes. You do need it. It holds the bearing from walking out of the case. Trust me on this. They don't just put useless pieces on bikes. Everything is there for a reason. In order for the bearings to work happy, they need to be in alignment. Otherwise, imminent failure takes over and pisses you off!!!
