Nutz Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 Hello all, My 02 Shee has had some clutch slippage lately and I have a couple questions. First, when riding under hard throttle in the upper gears there is slippage only for a second or two then it seems to grab. I assume I need to rebuild the clutch but there are so many kinds to choose from. Also, do I need just the plates or the entire clutch kit, prices range from 29.99 to 149.99. Could someone point me in the right direction???????? Thanks......... Quote

My dirt digger works great...Clutch was stiff cause of the stiffer springs but won't slip ...As for those VESRAH CLUTCHES there for people on a budget or who likes to change clutches often Quote
vmaxup Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 Dirt digger works awesome. I had mine running for almost 5 years and just running motor oil. Last trip to the dunes I bought just the clutches and no plates and springs. Put them in at Glamis and ready to go for another 5 years. If this is your first get the the whole thing stock springs and metal are no good. Also toss the Big o rings you dont need them. One more thing I used half of the springs in the kit and spaced them out. Not so hard to pull with some of the stock springs with the new ones Quote
