brock_fuzzy_69 Posted March 31, 2004 Report Posted March 31, 2004 i put my shee motor together and i still ahve this little washer sitting ont eh workbench its not in the assembly instructions or the parts diagrams anywhere its abotu a half inch in diameter with a hole of maybe an 1/8 inch or so it looks to be a thrust bearing and has a contact path worn onto both sides the one sides contact is in the center and the is ont eh outer edge my best guess is that it is supposed to lay on the bottom of the hole that the clutch release lever sets in any help would be appreciated here guys will i be able to split the cases part of the way to put that in if thats where it goes does the three bond actually set up or will i be able to split it part way and add some more sealnt in there with a small brush???? nater006 Posted April 1, 2004 Report Posted April 1, 2004 There are 2 "plain" washers on the kick idler gear. The one between the idler gear and the case is actually labeled as a "plain washer" hehehe. Another slightly larger one between the gear and the c-clip. Not sure if thats it but its one place to check... There is a "thrust plate" that sits between the pressure plate and clutch basket but that's slightly larger I believe. Quote
