The stock plastic insert has a rubber piece in it that seals great. Mine has been this way since 1989, no leaks at all.

this looks like something id like! so all you did was make the hole and use the existing rubber thing as a seal? couldnt a much smaller hole be made too? that sounds almost too sweet to be true! i HATE draining the coolant, taking the peg, nerf, brake pedal, hoses and then the hole cover of to do a minor job. i really want the quick change clutch mod but tis way to pricey for me...this would satisfy me

I originally had a smaller hole, but couldn't get a wrench and socket in at the same time. Now I have plenty of room, and the oil level is below the hole so when you open it up it doesn't pour out.
