Fireman-hott Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 Is removing the swingarm a very time consuming operation? Or is it a straight forward 30min-1hour job? Got a neighbor thats gonna cut and weld it for me. Also is it made from aluminum or from steel? Quote
MULLET~BOY Posted March 25, 2004 Report Posted March 25, 2004 its mild steal its gona be about 2 hour job the first time you do it first start by taking off the shock then the carrier and then the linkkage then take off the front bolt that holds the swing arm to the frame might need to tap the bolt out with a rubber mallet Quote

Not so much as a friggin scratch on the cylinders. getting some wiesco pro-lites should be here friday. I'm gonna try to get the swingarm off and cut before then. Can't wait till Memorial Day, gonna do some muddin,mxin,trailin. boy it they shine down on me, and to be honest is slide out really smooth just as smooth as the other side. Quote
