jinx44 Posted March 22, 2004 Report Share Posted March 22, 2004 I have yet to run on a track that would be smooth enough for struts. Each bump would unload your rear tires and you would constantly be fighting the bike because it would want to hook then unhook. Also, as the front dives it helps to plant the front tires and the front suspension lifting as you leave the turns helps to plant the rear tires for traction. Basically, I wouldn't think it would work very well. However, I guess Go-Karts get by without suspension. But watch them on dirt tracks, they get beat to death.
