I need to know the same thing i was also wondering if you could convert stock carbs to alky.I am wanting to go mostly stock looking.

I believe you need to add a booster jet. Alky has less energy than gasoline so you burn twice as much of it. Stock jets probably won't flow enough, gotta add an annular booster like the alky carbs have. I don't think it's something you can do youself unless you majored in astrophysics.

I think Packard, FTZ, and others can convert them

you have to drill your jets out and add power jets its a bitch unless you know what your doing tyson racing did mine he did a good job and it cost me abotu 130 bucks

shit what kind are you buying the alky i get is 2.50 a gallon i use it twice as fast so it ends up being the exact same price as race gas we usaly spend about 40 bucks for alky for a whole weekend

well my banshee only makes 300 foot passes so i am not worried about fuel economy but what about installing power jets? isn't that a must? I have like 3 power jets just laying around.

Thanks everybody. I 'll let you know how it turns out.

I HAVE HEARD NO ON THE STOCK CARBS DEAL.

ABOUT POWER JETS I RUN MIKUNI 34MM TM'S AND I DONT RUN POWER JETS THERE SET UP BY DAVE MOORE (MP RACING) HE FOUND A WAY TO GET THEM TO FLOW THE FUEL ENOUGH WITHOUT POWER JETS, PLUS I GOT THE SLEEPER LOOK LMFAO!!!!!!!!
