Dragg-on Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 why are you going to a 65mm piston if you are only 64.4. ??? you only need a piston set .20 over Quote
kingbanshee_73 Posted March 13, 2004 Author Report Posted March 13, 2004 i just looked and the .020 =64.5mm and i only got 64.4 so what should i do Quote
MotulMonsta Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 get the larger piston and bore it to fit. Quote
Nighty Posted March 14, 2004 Report Posted March 14, 2004 How do you figure out what clearances your piston needs? example .20 over pistons mean size 64.50MM current cilinder size: 64.40 .. so bore to 64.50 + clearance for piston. then hone the cilinder. Quote
Nighty Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Anyone happen to know to figure out piston to cylinder clearance needs? Does a set of pistons come with instructions for bore sizes/clearance? Quote
