'99350t Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 a friend of mine just bought an old blaster for 300 with a blow up engine. he threw 2 rebuild kits in it and nothing. its pretty half ass cobbed up(missing top right and bottom left bolts on intake) that is what i figured was wrong with it. its got good spark, compression and is getting the right mixed/fuel. only other think i can think is the timing is off? the key is on the crank and the flywheel is on it, and the stator is on right, is there anyother way the timing can still be off? bronco91shee Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 From what ive read, the only way oit can be off, is like u said, stuff loose, or if ur electrical is outta spec, such as a weak coil or something. on blasters there is no way to adjust timing, thats what ive heard. not to be smart, but did u check the obvious, good fuel filter, floats, all that stuff? just my thoughts. peac e out and good luc Quote
