XTShee Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 They do fit apperantly, but they require grinding of the shock mounts This link has some pics of a shee with them installed http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=23983 Quote
dnhyoung Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 here's a previous link where I posted a few photos of what had to be ground down http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...5&hl=450+shocks Quote
azsandrat Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 The lowers are about .625 wider thanthe banshee a arms at the frame mounts. The uppers are the same width. The other problem is the frame design. The banshee is a wider frame making the a arms shorter. The YFZ is a narrow frame making the arms longer. The trouble is when you have a longer YFZ lower on a banshee frame makes for some severe bump steer. The camber would be way off as well. It would take alot of work to make them fit right and not worth the head aches. Quote
T469 Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 if you just install the shocks they'll fit with just a little grinding on the mounts. as far as performance they are a night and day difference. with all the adjustments you can get them set the way you like. all small bumps are now soaked up and the others are sooo smooth. makes you alot faster through the woods, no more getting beat to death going fast. also they look bad ass on the front.
