grinterb Posted February 17, 2004 Report Share Posted February 17, 2004 I recently purchased a 2000 Banshee which has about 10 hours after a complete rebuild. When trying to start and will the choke all the way out, I get no fuel in the carbs. If I place some cardboard over the intakes, I get fuel in the carbs and the motor starts with one kick. Once running, the engine is strong at all speeds. I think the choke is at least partially working. If I pull it out while the engine is running the idle speeds up a little. Choke tube is in place and there is no airbox cover. Could this be a bad choke? Any other ideas. Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Banchetta Posted February 18, 2004 Report Share Posted February 18, 2004 You probably swapped the carb bowls...Only the left carb has a brass tube and little jet in the carb bowl.
