Bensshee Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 Is there any benefits in buying a high output stator other than running bigger lights? I need a new stator and trying to decide between a ricky stator stock replecement and a ricky stator high output. Quote
Big Blue Posted February 16, 2004 Report Posted February 16, 2004 i would go ahead and buy the larger stator since you are getting one anyway, not sure of the benifits besides larger lights though. Quote
sweetshee4312 Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 how large can u go, when ur getting a bigger stator, i mean like, can i have really huge lights or jyust slightly bigger Quote
Nighty Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 stock stator is around 75watts the ricky goes over 200watts. so YES thats a whole lot of improvement. Quote
bigwill Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 Go with the Ricky Stator 200watt,its only 160.00,stock lights are 35w,most aftermarket lights are 55w. He also has the lazer lights that mount on handle bars,I have this set-up,this set-up is great, lights turn with the handle bars no spinning the bike around to see and they are higher up,you can see the bottoms of whoops better at higher speeds. There are other good setups as well-this one works great for me.
