banshee04le Posted February 10, 2004 Report Posted February 10, 2004 I got them off of ebay. I never ran them on my bike. I have new elka's on the way now. I did put them on and the springs seemed too soft. They are black. Quote

Yama_Freak Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 are you looking to trade or what??? how much you want for them?? I WANT THEM Quote
banshee04le Posted February 13, 2004 Author Report Posted February 13, 2004 I got them in January for $182.50 off of ebay. I was hoping I would be able to just put them on and run them, but I could tell that they would bottom out too easily...even on small shit...the springs are just too soft. I had the springs off to check the valving (moved the pistons through their stroke) and they seem fine and there is no sign of leakage but the bottom line is that to run them they will need to be reworked for your weight, riding style and front end geometry. This will most likely require new springs also, which would make them look and ride as good as new and would be around $120-160 for valving and springs, depending on where you go...works, elka, TCS and many other smaller companies will rework them. Check around, you may even have someone reputable locally that could do it. I will let them go for the first $90 + shipping...or make a trade offer. Oh yeah...no rezzy's and no pics right now, but I will eventually get some. I am going to buy a digital camera next week for sure . Quote
